Description
City bike, hybrid bike, trekking bike? All is possible with the Sensa Cintura with belt drive!
Versatile bike
Versatile is the best word to describe the Sensa Cintura. With a light frame, slightly active riding position and strong, smooth gear hub, you can go on amazing and long rides. The possibility of mounting a lowrider makes the Cintura very suitable as a trekking bike for a cycling vacation. The lowrider makes it possible to carry extra cargo on the front fork. In addition, this bike also has everything for everyday use: A luggage carrier, lock, stand and lighting set make the Cintura useful as a practical city bike.
Whatever use you have in mind, or if versatility is an absolute requirement for your bike, the Sensa Cintura with its high-quality components knows how to fulfill every role with flying colours.
For use as a trekking bike, you don't want your ride to weigh too much, after all, it also needs to carry your stuff. The frame of this hybrid bike is therefore made of aluminum and double butted. With this technique, the material is thicker where necessary and thinner where possible, thus building a light and stiff frame. This clearly shows the Sensa's sports background. It is also possible to mount a water bottle cage, which comes in handy during a long trip. The fixed front fork has mounting points for a lowrider, from which you can hang extra bags. In addition, this fixed fork ensures tight steering behavior, especially in combination with the sporty frame, granting you a slightly active posture. To make it look even better, the welds are practically invisible.
Great drivetrain
A trekking bike that will take you on the most beautiful adventures deserves the most reliable components. As such Sensa choose for a Shimano Alfine 8 gear hub for this model. At 307%, the gear range is pretty good, but not enough for really steep roads. The hub does shift very smoothly, is very reliable and can take a good amount of force. By pairing it with a Gates CDN belt drive, you get a very reliable drivetrain. In fact, this belt drive is quieter and more durable than a traditional chain. To contain this drivetrain, you want to be able to stop quickly and safely. There is no better choice than hydraulic disc brakes to solve this issue. The Shimano brakes have sufficient braking power and are easy to dose. All this combined will make you feel like riding many kilometres on this hybrid bike.
Suitable for daily use
If you don't have room in your shed to fit several bikes for daily use and recreational tours, the Sensa Cintura is a top choice. In addition to its sporty features, good drivetrain and brakes, it is also a very practical bike. The carrier with quick-release straps is suitable for your luggage during vacations or while shopping. In addition, this bike is equipped with a hub dynamo that powers the AXA lighting set. A sturdy lock is provided, so put your bike away with an easy mind. Nothing will therefore stand in your way of enjoying this extremely complete hybrid city bike.

Very fine belted hybrid bike
- Berry 31 August 2023
Light bike with good running belt and gears. Easy handlebar adjustment makes it a real city bike or a bike with a sportier stance. I am very satisfied with the first few rides. Because of the belt, you just can't change the rear tyre yourself, but despite that I opted for this.
Pros & Cons
Good assembly kit
Light frame
Cannot change rear tyre due to belt
